Great Place To Work® and Fortune Europe have included Gather & Gather Ireland in the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Europe™ for 2024
Gather & Gather is a sustainable food service company which currently employs over 650 people in Ireland and received the accolade as part of an intensive process involving confidential employee surveys with analysis and evaluation of the feedback carried out by Great Place to Work.
To select companies for the list, Great Place To Work surveyed 1.3 Million employees across the region, representing the experiences of more than 2 million European workers. The final list features 25 multinational companies and 75 large companies, Gather & Gather Ireland being one of them.
Backed up by honest, detailed employee feedback, the list importantly focuses on how people feel about their place of work. It features companies that outperform the typical workplace in Europe, creating environments built on fairness where people thrive and feel included, driven by a shared sense of purpose. Gather & Gather are already listed as a Great Place to Work in Ireland, having achieved the accolade earlier this year, shortly before landing further recognition as a Great Place To Work for Women.
Speaking about the achievement, Managing Director, Gather & Gather Ireland Pauline Cox, said: “I am so proud of Gather & Gather Ireland and our people for being recognised as one of the best companies to work for in Europe. Our inclusion in this list is a fantastic achievement and testimony to the strength of our culture, the high levels of trust across the organisation, and the consistent positive support and experience our people enjoy at work.”
“They are at the heart of our success and it’s only right that they enjoy a fair, supportive and inclusive workplace. This has always been our focus, and to have this officially recognised in this way is a great feeling for us all. I’m so grateful to everyone who took part in the process, and our commitment to all of our people is that we will continue to listen to their feedback, to keep evolving, and to keep developing a culture and workplace that is the best it possibly can be.”
According to Great Place to Work, companies like Gather & Gather dramatically outperform the typical workplace in Europe, as measured by a market study of 26,000 European workers conducted by Great Place To Work.
