We wanted to let you know how we are working during the Covid-19 outbreak.
These truly are unprecedented and difficult times. As the prime minister, Boris Johnson, has said, the Covid-19 outbreak is the worst public health crisis for a generation.
The safety of our people, clients, suppliers, customers and communities is our priority. We have been, and continue to, closely monitor the ever-changing situation. We are following the guidance and instructions issued by governments and adapting our operations – both at client sites and in our offices – in line with these.
We are keeping our people, clients and suppliers updated with the latest developments from the governments, Public Health England and WHO, and the impacts of these.
Our wonderful industry has been hit hard by the Covid-19 crisis. From education and workplaces to destinations and events, the necessary social distancing policies in place have affected us all, forcing businesses across the sectors to make tough decisions in an effort to protect future jobs. We recognise that this is a worrying and stressful time for everyone. The industry is working together with UKHospitality, the industry association that represents us at Government level, in an effort to minimise the impact of this terrible situation on our people.
We all have a responsibility to do the right thing and follow the advice and instructions put in place to minimise the spread of the Covid-19 virus and to allow people working on the frontline to do their vital work as safely as possible.
The important message we all must heed to keep everyone safe is stay home, protect the NHS and save lives.
