We’re delighted to announce that our COO, Allister Richards, has been appointed the new chair of The Springboard Charity.
Allister is an active champion of the charity’s work to promote hospitality careers to the next generation and supports disadvantaged and unemployed people of all ages and backgrounds with skills and job opportunities.
For the past decade Allister has been an active member of Springboard’s board as a trustee. He now succeeds Alastair Storey, Chairman and CEO of Westbury Street Holdings, who held the position of chair from 2019.
Allister says about his appointment: “The Springboard Charity plays a vital role in shaping the hospitality industry by raising its profile and championing hospitality as an exciting and inclusive career option for all. I’m honoured to take the reins of Chair from Alastair Storey and thank him for his significant contribution and achievements during his tenure. I look forward to working with the team at Springboard to continue to grow the charity and the positive impact it has on everyone it supports and our great industry.”
